Spring Equinox

What a wonderful day it was here yesterday, the weather was glorious. All the horses and ponies were soaking up the vitamin D. There's nothing better than watching a horse snooze in the field with the sun on its back.

Our oldest resident the wonderful Samson was feeling very fresh cantering around the field looking much younger than his 32 years. If he's anything like the rest of us he will be feeling a little stiff today ....

We are watching the fields carefully trying to judge the right time to get the roller and harrow out. Its definitely drying up nicely now the grass is starting to come through.

Buzz came back to us today to be backed and ridden away. He's a cheeky little chap, he's gone out with 4 other geldings for a few days to settle back in and we will keep you updated on his progress.

Spring is such a wonderful season new life everywhere from the little lambs to buds on the trees. Take 5 minutes to stand and look at the nature around you. Its such a grounding experience no matter how you feel listening to the birds even in a city centre park is a delight.

Enjoy the weather.
